Launching Kelly Allen Design with homeowners, Bob and Susan, made starting my business effortless — and frankly, a blast! I met Susan on a yoga retreat in Costa Rica and we became fast friends with a shared love for home design. Months later Susan and I spontaneously ran into each other and our client/designer relationship started. She and her husband were just beginning to make plans for a new home build in a quiet lakeside suburb.

Susan had many clear ideas for interior finishes and materials. Knock-out, gorgeous quartzite countertops were chosen for the kitchen, breathtaking wallpaper adorns the primary bedroom walls, and we collaborated with two local artists to achieve a custom aged-stone fireplace finish with original art above. One design choice at a time and new home building dreams were swiftly fulfilled.
